Politics for beginners

I don’t do politics. Mostly because I don’t know enough, and also because …most of the time, it’s freaking boring. But yesterday I realized….I live in what’s turning into a dictatorship. The journalist on the 8pm news told us, like it’s totally normal, a little story: a year ago a dude was driving in Paris when a scooter crashed into his car and left. He and another man who just happened to be there, had time to write down the plate number. Turned out it was Jean Sarkozy’s scooter. Our dear president’s son. The car dude went to court. Yesterday, the judge kissed Jean on both cheeks and condamned the dude to pay 2000 euros to poor little Jean. Justice makes sense.
