jag går till Bretagne…och eat a lot of crêpes !

 

I’m off to Bretagne, to my oncle’s house to celebrate the 14th of July w/ my family ! it’s gonna be beach, beach, food, and markets  

But no internet so im sorry if i don’t write back to your nice comments this week ! But i’ll be back soon !!

Yes, i’ll have to go back to work and seriously start on my huge Master dissertation….sooo stressful. But the good news is..I MIGHT have had a job offer on friday…more on that later…

plus, for once, i feel i look a little bit like a swede And actually, i’m taking my Swedish Grammar book w/ me on vacation…(everything but my dissertation !)

my 12 days in Sweden were perfect.

Perfect weather, perfect lazyness, and perfect shopping   

Myrorna rocks my world.

So here’s the dress i found there for 8 euros.

At first i tried it on as a joke but älskling said it was really cute, so i looked at it more carefully and well..indeed it’s adorable ! …well at least i think it is.  With my cow boy hat from the Wild West it’s just a perfect “prairie” match (if that means anything) 

 

 

ps : Crispin rocked her exams…rank 17 out of 2000 contestants…She’ll be a doctor one day !!

a HUGE surprise …

Hej !!! Well, i’m back, once again, and back to work…but not for too long  

I had a post ready about the cute pink dress i got at Myrorna but something bigger came in the way….  

Or …someone…

he’s 2 and a  half months, he arrived on sunday and his name is Elio…but he doesn’t seem to be aware of it yet.

I suddenly act totally dumb when i get next to him. I just love him so much.

You wanna know what HE loves?  Crying…all night. And his plastic duck.  

 

ok i’m gonna go play him now… 

Back to the future 3

so Back to the future is my favorite movie.

I know. it’s weird, but it’s the way it is.

I especially love the second one but the whole idea just rocks my world.

And the reason why i still didn’t take my driving licence test is only because it’s not possible to get a Flying Dolorean … yet.

So anyway, on friday 3rd, we decided to celebrate my bday way in advance cause älskling won’t be there on the 30th. And as a surprise he took me to this Wild West theme park. He said he took me there cause my trip to California w/ my family got canceled …how sweet !!  It was soooo adorable there! i had a blast playing the cow girl and the indian !!!! 

I just  have ONE QUESTION for you people, WHEN and WHY did we stop wearing hats and feathers?

Im sorry it s not so many but i´ve been quite busy with being lazy lately…but later on i’ll let you know about yesterday and how i went “Back to the future 3 ” !!!

What a relaxing week i’m having, tuesday we went to the lake and just read and swam…  wednesday we went to Malmö and to the other Myrorna and  i found a really fun Coca Cola bag for Crispin, she’s a fan. In the evening we went to see “The Ice Age 3″ and they still crack me up !!!! 

We had crêpes for dinner (that i made myelf )  and some crumbs had really fun shapes …

 

now we’re getting ready for a picnic in the woods !!!  

 

Burnt by the sun…i’m a cooked raspberry

ok. So Sweden’s sun can burn you. I learnt my lesson. I look like a crayfish. No kidding.

Despite that, sunday was awesome, we drove to Ales Stenar (a place were Vikings put up big rocks in circle…),Ystad, we went to a beautiful sand beach, and passed some beautiful churches.

On monday we went to  one of the 2 Myrorna second hand shop….damn i love that place… I tried on a lot of stuff and got myself a pair of Tiger of Sweden jeans (apparently they are super expensive) for 5 euros, and a dress that can’t be described so I’ll try to post a pic as soon as i look human again (the dress is pink, and red and pink are not a perfect match).  

So i’ll just  show you how Crispin drew me !!!!! Finally a pic of me i like

 

Malmö i mitt hjärta !

Girls (boys?), I’m back in Malmö for 12 days  !! woot woot ! I arrived on friday morning and didn’t even had time to rest, we were already on our way to Göteborg (beautiful city w/ lovely churches) to see the soccer “U-21″ (under 21 for those who don’t know, like me)  european semi-final between Sweden and England. I said it already im absolutly not a soccer fan but the city was YELLOW, sooo many people were wearing the swedish jersey (including me, älskling actually made me change in the middle of the street, but it’s ok i had a nice bra )and there was so much excitement in the air that i kinda enjoyed myself !  Even if Sweden lost. Then we went to Lisaberg, the amusement park, it’s really adorable !    well….busy busy first vacation day !  Oh yeah i forgot to mention the weather is AWESOME !!!   can’t wait to go to the beach!

the very first thing i saw when i got off the train was the Metro newspaper saying ” Mickaël Jackson död inatt“ I stood there in shock. My swedish is getting better.  

Blinded by the sun

it’s been really sunny today, but since my office is now in a “cave” i didn’t notice until 6pm

At least i was happy to be able to use my new sun glasses from La Halle aux vêtements

I had  a great relaxing meal w/ mom at the crêperie and it was great and now i’m supposed to study…

but for real i’m waiting for my summer swap package… it should arrive this week 

 

 

back again…

Weekend was lovely, as usual, just sleeping, eating, and shopping…(oookey and watching High School Musical 3 but i kinda HAD to).

I of course, bought new stuff, mostly underwears this time…

Back to work today, but just until thursday, and on friday morning im flying to Malmö (well Copenhaguen)

yesterday night i was a waitress again for one night cause it was the Music Festival and my former boss needed extras, damn it was exhausting but so much fun to be back , and well…much money too  

I’m a little disappointed i missed the Midsommar celabration in Sweden but  at least the sun is shinning and you can wear dresses again !
